About Kaitlyn

Kaitlyn is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and Florida State University graduate who knew early in life that she was meant to help others heal. Inspired by her mother’s career in mental health, she entered the field with purpose and passion, dedicating herself to becoming the kind of therapist who brings both skill and genuine compassion to every client she serves.

Her professional experience is extensive. Kaitlyn has worked as a Clinical Director in an inpatient drug and alcohol treatment center, where she provided therapy to individuals facing a wide range of traumas—including chronic pain, life-altering injuries, disability-related challenges, and the emotional struggles that often accompany major changes in physical ability. Through this work, she gained specialized insight into how sudden or progressive disability can impact a person’s mental health, identity, relationships, and sense of stability.

Kaitlyn combines evidence-based therapeutic approaches with a calm, grounded presence. She understands the courage it takes to seek help and the strength required to rebuild after adversity. Her goal is to create a space where clients feel truly heard, supported, and empowered to reclaim their confidence and direction.

At Reclaim Therapy + Coaching, Kaitlyn is committed to helping individuals move forward with clarity, resilience, and hope—no matter what life has brought their way.

Justin Pettyjohn

About Justin

I grew up active, athletic, and always on the move—playing sports, working outdoors, and running my own landscaping business long before most people my age even thought about entrepreneurship. Although I was born with tethered cord, it didn’t affect my life until I was 18. What followed was a long journey of surgeries, progressive nerve damage, and the gradual loss of physical independence.

Along the way, I faced judgment from strangers, hits to my confidence, the challenge of finding a career that matched my abilities, and the complicated layers of dating, marriage, and identity with a disability. By my early 30s, tethered cord became fully debilitating and ultimately led me to the wheelchair I feared most.

But my story didn’t end there. I adapted. I rebuilt my purpose. I discovered strength I didn’t know I had. And I realized something powerful: your circumstances may change your life, but they don’t have to control it.

Today, as a life coach, I use my lived experience to guide others through their own challenges with honesty, resilience, and hope. At Reclaim Therapy + Coaching, you’ll find a team that understands your journey—and supports you every step of the way.
